Glendale provides both sand and bags to prevent flooding during monsoon season and throughout the year. Citizens need to bring their own shovel and fill their own sandbags.  The city provides the sand, bags, and ties at the following locations:

• Bonsall Park North, located at the northeast corner of 59th Avenue & Bethany Home Road
• Glendale Fire Department Support Services,  7501 N. 55th Avenue
• Glendale Community Center, 14075 N. 59th Avenue
