Bulk Trash Information

Solid Waste provides free monthly scheduled curbside pickups of large items.  You may find the current zones and schedule at www.glendaleaz.com/bulktrash.

There is only one stop per household in each zone during the scheduled collection dates. Items must be out no later than 6 a.m. prior to the Monday and no sooner than the Thursday before their scheduled pick-up week. Items must be placed curbside or within 4ft of property line or they will not be picked up. Items need to be at least 2ft away from water meters, cable boxes or any other items that may be damaged. Our team will leave the customer a tag if they have unacceptable items or incorrect placement. Items will not be picked up until unacceptable items are removed from the pile and/or pile is placed correctly.

Residents who are current on their bill, may schedule an Off Route Bulk Trash Pick Up for $99.00.

The fee for enforcement of bulk trash collection is $99.00. This fee is charged when a resident fails to comply with the city’s enforcement action notice by the deadline and the city collects the material.

Solid Waste workers have a dangerous job, working all hours along busy streets and in tight spaces. We ask motorist to slow down and give a safe working distance. As a safety precaution, please keep children and pets away from our collection vehicles. Children and animals are attracted to large trucks, which is a safety concern for our drivers. Do not permit children to play near bulk trash, especially on collection days.
