Home Rehabilitation Programs
The City of Glendale Home Rehabilitation Programs (including the Home Rehabilitation, Exterior and Roof programs) give low-to-moderate income homeowners the opportunity to rehabilitate their homes. Improvements must meet minimum building codes and improve health and safety of the home.
The types of repairs in the Home Rehabilitation Program may include electrical, plumbing, mechanical or structural repairs to existing systems on the interior of the home. Projects are funded by providing the homeowner a 10-year forgivable/principal reduction loan.
The types of repairs in the Roof Repair/Replacement Program may include deteriorated fascia, shingles, soffits, sheathing, shingle mold and other related roof components. This program is provided as a grant to the homeowner.
The types of repairs in the Exterior Program may include exterior paint, front yard drought resistant landscaping and repairs to the exterior of the home. This program is provided as a grant to the homeowner.
